Die im Rahmen einer Übungsfirma des Berufsbildungswerkes begonnene Patenschaft der Firma TOATL für Auszubildende im Bürobereich wurde 2002 durch Abschluss eines Kooperationsvertrages auf eine Grundlage gestellt, um beiderseitige Interessen wirksamer erreichen zu können. Ziel der Kooperation ist, einerseits mehr Praxisnähe in die Ausbildung des ALBBW durch Aufträge von TOTAL einzubringen, andererseits mit einer Projektgruppe von Auszubildendem von TOTAL zusammenzuarbeiten und diese u. a. an den jährlich stattfindenden Übungsfirmenmessen mit der Übungsfirma Motorräder, Schmierstoffe GmbH zu beteiligen.
