Die Deutsche Rentenversicherung erbringt nach § 15 SGB VI Leistungen zur medizinischen Rehabilitation für Abhängigkeitskranke, um deren Abstinenz zu festigen und die Erwerbsfähigkeit zu erhalten bzw. wiederherzustellen. Viele suchtkranke Rehabilitanden sind Eltern. Eine Mitaufnahme von Kindern in die stationäre Entwöhnungsbehandlung kann über die Haushaltshilfe nach § 74 SGB IX realisiert werden. Die neue Intervention wird spezifische Behandlungsmodule zur Berücksichtigung der Kontextfaktoren "Familie und Kinder" in der Suchtrehabilitation umfassen, wird familiensystemisch orientiert sein, wird die Themen Elternschaft, Erziehungskompetenz, Eltern-Kind-Beziehung behandeln, und wird bereits im ambulanten Bereich etablierte, evidenzbasierte, suchtspezifische Module ins stationäre Setting integrieren und mit weiteren notwendigen Interventionsbausteinen kombinieren. Im Fall der Mitaufnahme der Kinder in den beteiligten Rehabilitationseinrichtungen soll die Intervention auch spezifische Bausteine direkt für die Kinder umfassen. Darüber hinaus werden die Begleitkinder über die gesamte Dauer der stationären Entwöhnungsbehandlung ihrer Eltern mittels systemischer Ansätze begleitet und unterstützt.
SMART-Ziel ist die Inanspruchnahme der neuen Intervention in der Umsetzungsphase durch 510 Suchtrehabilitanden ohne Begleitkinder und 64 Suchtrehabilitanden mit Begleitkindern.
