Das Vorhaben setzt sich zum Gesamtziel, qualifizierte Strategien und Instrumente zur beruflichen Integration von Gehörlosen ins Berufsleben zu entwickeln, diese in der Praxis zu erproben, zu evaluieren und eine regionale Unterstützungsstruktur über die Integrationsfachdienste aufzubauen und den Gesamtprozess wissenschaftlich zu begleiten.
Einzelziele: Während der Projektlaufzeit soll Wissen über die Situation gehörloser Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter im Unternehmen und die Erwartungen und Anforderungen von Personalverantwortlichen, Führungskräften und Kollegen im Unternehmen an gehörlose Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter systematisch zusammengetragen und aufbereitet werden. Aus- und Weiterbildungsinhalte für Gehörlose sind ebenfalls systematisch zu dokumentieren und aufzubereiten. Stärken und Schwächen sowohl der Aus- und Weiterbildung für Gehörlose als auch der Angebote in Unternehmen zur Integration von Gehörlosen sollen ermittelt und entsprechende Optimierungsvorschläge heraus gearbeitet werden. Workshops sollen als Maßnahme zur Optimierung der Integration von Gehörlosen ins Berufsleben mit Gehörlosen, deren Kollegen und Führungskräften und den Personalverantwortlichen in Unternehmen durchgeführt und evaluiert werden. Die in Bayern bestehenden Integrationsfachdienste sind in diesen Prozess einzubinden. Ein kontinuierlicher Verbesserungsprozess zur beruflichen Integration Gehörloser ins Berufsleben soll mit dem Schwerpunkt implementiert werden, Gehörlose, Integrationsfachdienste, Aus- und Weiterbildungsinstitutionen und Personalverantwortliche in Unternehmen miteinander zu vernetzen und eine regionale Unterstützungsstruktur zur beruflichen Integration Gehörloser ins Berufsleben aufzubauen. Ein Handbuch mit konkreten Hilfestellungen für alle Beteiligten soll angefertigt werden, das auch über Internet allen Interessierten nutzbar gemacht werden soll.

Integration through networking - pilot project on the integration of deaf people into working life
The total aim of the investigation is to develop a qualified strategy and instrument for the vocational integration of deaf people into working life, to test this in practice, to evaluate and establish a regional support structure through the integration specialist services and to scientifically support the whole process. Individual aims: During the course of the project information about the situation of deaf employees in businesses and the expectations and demands of those responsible for personnel, management and colleagues in businesses, will be systematically brought together and prepared.
Training and further training contents for deaf people are also to be systematically documented and prepared. Strengths and weaknesses as well as the training and further training of the deaf and offers in companies for integration of deaf people should be established and appropriate optimisation offers developed. Workshops should be conducted and evaluated with deaf people, their colleagues and management and personnel departments as a measure for optimising the integration of the deaf into working life. The existing integration specialist service in Bavaria should be included in this process. A continuous improvement process for vocational integration of the deaf into working life should be implemented. The emphasis thereby lays on the connection of deaf people, integration specialist services, training and further training institutions and those responsible for personnel in businesses with each other and development of a regional support structure for the vocational integration of the deaf into working life. A guidebook with concrete help for all those concerned should be produced that should be made available over the Internet to all those interested.
