Das Ziel ist die Einrichtung und Evaluation einer virtuellen Fachschule für kaufmännische und technische Berufe zur Weiterbildung hörgeschädigter Erwachsener (ZUK II). Die Zielgruppe sind aufstiegsmotivierte Hörgeschädigte aus kaufmännischen und technischen Berufen, die berufsbegleitend den Abschluss "Staatl. geprüfter Betriebswirt" bzw. "Staatl. geprüfter Techniker" machen und dabei die Hochschulreife erwerben.
Die Phase 1. ist Vorbereitung und Planung. Es geht um die Fertigstellung, Textoptimierung und Transformation der im Rahmen des Forschungsprojekts "ZUK I" erstellten Materialien und Medien in ein adäquates Format. Aufbau eines Internet-Servers; Entwicklung von Vorkurs- Materialien und -Medien. (Juni 1998 bis Februar 1999)
In Phase 2 erfolgt von Februar bis August 1999 die Durchführung und Evaluation des Vorkurses. Diese Phase beinhaltet eine prozessorientierte Evaluation der Eignung einer ersten Gruppe von Fachschülern im Rahmen eines Vorkurses mit gleichzeitiger Vermittlung von Basisqualifikationen zum Besuch der Fachschule in Deutsch, Englisch, Mathematik und in notwendigen Arbeitsmethoden. Entwicklung von Medien für das erste Jahr der virtuellen Fachschule. Entscheidung über die Einrichtung einer virtuellen Fachschule.
Phase 3: Ersterprobung der virtuellen Fachschule - 1. Jahr (September 1999 bis Dezember 2000). Durchführung und Evaluation des Verlaufs und der Lernleistung der Fachschüler auch über das Internet im ersten Unterrichtsjahr. Permanente Evaluation der Präsenz-Stunden, Online-Stunden und Fernlehr-Stunden. Revision der Medien des Vorkurses.
Methode: Transformation der im Projekt ZUK I erstellten Materialien und Medien des Vorkurses in ein adäquates Format. Evaluation von Vorkurs-Materialien und -Medien mittels sozialwissenschaflicher Verfahren und teilnehmender Beobachtung.

Ensuring the future for employees with hearing impairments in commercial and technical careers by outside of the job learning (ZUK II)
Aim is the establishing and evaluation of a virtual technical school for commercial and technical vocations for the further education of adults with hearing impairments (ZUK II). The target group is people with hearing impairments motivated to improvement from commercial and technical vocations, who alongside their jobs are completing the qualifications "State Examined Business Economist" or "State Examined Technician" and thus gaining their A levels.
Phase 1 is preparation and planning. This is concerned with the completion, text optimisation and transformation of material and media developed in the research projects "ZUK I" into a suitable format. Developing an Internet server; developing precourse material and media. (June 1998 to February 1999)
In Phase 2 from February to August 1999 the conducting and evaluation of the precourse takes place. This phase contains a process oriented evaluation of the suitability of a first group of technical students attending the technical school in the context of a precourse, with simultanous acquisition of basic qualifications in German, English, Mathematics and necessary work methods. Developing media for the first year of the virtual technical school.
